بيان إدانة الصمت الدولي بعد أحداث فنزويلا وتداعياته الإنسانية

تدين مؤسسة الإنصاف لحقوق الإنسان الصمت الدولي الذي أعقب أحداث فنزويلا، وتعدّه موقفًا خطيرًا يفتح المجال أمام تصاعد انتهاك كرامة الإنسان، ويمنح الغطاء لاستمرار ممارسات الاستغلال بحق الشعوب دون أي مساءلة حقيقية.

ولابد من إبداء الاستغراب الشديد جدًا من مواقف الدول والمنظمات والنخب في مثل هكذا أمور مفصلية في مصير الأمم، إذ إن الصمت في مواجهة الظلم ليس حيادًا، بل تواطؤ غير مباشر يُشرعن نهب ثروات الشعوب، ويُقصي الإنسان من مركز العدالة، ليصبح مجرد رقم في معادلات المصالح. فما يجري اليوم من سعيٍ واضح للهيمنة على ثروات الأمم وفرض الإرادات بالقوة يتم على مرأى العالم، وسط سكوت مطبق من الجهات التي يُفترض بها حماية الحقوق وصون الكرامة الإنسانية.

إن تغييب الحقيقة، وتغليف الوقائع، واستمرار السكوت من قبل الحكومات والمنظمات والشعوب، يحوّل الانتهاكات من جرائم مدانة إلى ممارسات مألوفة، ويُرسّخ منطق القوة بدل الحق، ويؤكد أن منظومة حقوق الإنسان تُستخدم بانتقائية تُفرغها من معناها الإنساني وتحوّلها إلى أداة سياسية لا أكثر.

ويبرز هذا النهج بوضوح في السياسات المتكررة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التي تتعامل مع بعض الدول والشعوب بوصفها ساحات نفوذ وثروات قابلة للمساومة، في تجاهل صريح لإرادة الشعوب وحقها الأصيل في تقرير مصيرها.

إن هذا المسار لا يمس السيادة الوطنية فحسب، بل يضرب جوهر الحق الإنساني في الحرية والكرامة والاختيار.

إن استمرار هذا الصمت لا يهدد الشعوب المتضررة وحدها، بل يحمل خطرًا أوسع يتمثل في تطبيع انتهاك الحقوق إلى درجة قد تمتد آثارها لتطال حتى المجتمعات التي تدّعي حماية حقوق الإنسان نفسها، بما فيها داخل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث يصبح الإنسان عرضة للتمييز والتقييد كلما تراجعت القيم أمام منطق القوة والمصلحة.

إن الصمت أمام الظلم ليس غيابًا للصوت، بل موقفًا يُحسب. وحقوق الإنسان لا تُحمى بالشعارات، بل بالمواقف الواضحة. وكل من يختار السكوت اليوم، يفتح الباب لانتهاكاتٍ أوسع غدًا، لا تستثني أحدًا.

Condemnation Statement on International Silence Following the Events in Venezuela and Their Humanitarian Repercussions

Al-Insaf Human Rights Foundation condemns the international silence that followed the events in Venezuela and considers it a dangerous stance that opens the door to the escalation of violations of human dignity and provides cover for the continuation of exploitative practices against peoples without any real accountability.

There is a pressing need to express profound astonishment at the positions of states, organizations, and elites in such decisive matters affecting the fate of nations. Silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality; rather, it is indirect complicity that legitimizes the plundering of peoples’ resources and removes the human being from the center of justice, reducing them to a mere number in equations of interest. What is taking place today—an evident pursuit of dominance over the resources of nations and the imposition of will by force—is happening before the eyes of the world, amid absolute silence from those entities that are supposed to protect rights and safeguard human dignity.

The obscuring of truth, the framing of realities, and the continued silence by governments, organizations, and peoples transform condemnable violations into familiar practices, entrench the logic of force over right, and confirm that the human rights system is used selectively, emptying it of its human meaning and turning it into nothing more than a political tool.

This approach is clearly evident in the repeated policies of the United States of America, which deals with certain states and peoples as arenas of influence and negotiable resources, in explicit disregard for the will of peoples and their inherent right to self-determination.

This course of action does not merely affect national sovereignty; it strikes at the very essence of the human right to freedom, dignity, and choice.

The continuation of this silence threatens not only the affected peoples, but also carries a broader danger in normalizing rights violations to the extent that their repercussions may extend to societies that themselves claim to protect human rights, including within the United States of America, where individuals become vulnerable to discrimination and restriction whenever values recede before the logic of power and interest.

Silence in the face of injustice is not the absence of a voice; it is a position that is counted. Human rights are not protected by slogans, but by clear stances. Whoever chooses silence today opens the door to broader violations tomorrow, sparing no one.
