تُعرب مؤسسة الإنصاف لحقوق الإنسان عن إدانتها القاطعة واستنكارها الصارخ لجريمة الاغتيال الممنهجة والآثمة التي استهدفت اليوم فرسان الحقيقة في جنوب لبنان، الصحفي علي شعيب (مراسل قناة المنار) والصحفية فاطمة فتوني (مراسلة قناة الميادين).
إن تعمد قصف سيارتهم المدنية بأربعة صواريخ من طائرة مسيرة، رغم حملها لشارات الصحافة الواضحة، هو جريمة حرب موصوفة واعتداء سافر على ميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقواعد القانون الدولي الإنساني.
إن هذا الاستهداف المباشر يعكس عقلية إجرامية منظمة تسعى بكل صلف إلى حجب الحقيقة وكتم أنفاس الشهود وتغييب العدسة عن توثيق المجازر والانتهاكات الجارية، وما هذه الأفعال الإجرامية إلا دليل صارخ على ذعر المحتل من وضوح الحقيقة التي تعريه. إننا نؤكد لمرتكبي هذه الجرائم: إن طغيانكم مؤقت وكل هذا سيزول، وستقفون مفضوحين أمام ضمير العالم والتاريخ، فالحقيقة لا تموت بالرصاص، ومنطق التاريخ أثبت دوماً “كن مظلوماً تنتصر”.
وفي هذا السياق، تستنكر مؤسستنا بشدة النهج المتخاذل والتقاعس المريب للحكومة اللبنانية ووزارة الإعلام؛ فما جرى ليس مجرد اعتداء على طواقم صحفية، بل هو انعكاس لحالة الشلل العام للسلطة اللبنانية التي تخلت عن واجبها الأساسي في حماية أمن مواطنيها وسيادة أراضيها. إن هذا التراخي الرسمي غير المفهوم تجاه استباحة دماء اللبنانيين، يؤشر بوضوح إلى أن البلد بات يُدار بـ “أيدٍ غير أمينة” آثرت الصمت والمواربة على مصلحة الوطن، مما يشرعن اضطهاد الكوادر المهنية ويخدم أجندات المعتدي.
إن دماء الشهداء علي شعيب وفاطمة فتوني تضع المجتمع الدولي والمنظومة الرسمية اللبنانية أمام اختبار أخلاقي وقانوني مفصلي؛ فصمت المنظمات الدولية وتخلي السلطات اللبنانية عن دورها السيادي ليس إلا ضوءاً أخضر للاستمرار في خرق القوانين الدولية دون رادع.
تُحمّل مؤسسة الإنصاف الجهات المعتدية المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا الاغتيال، وتؤكد أن استمرار سياسة الإفلات من العقاب وازدواجية المعايير، يقابلها عجز حكومي لبناني شامل ومخزٍ. إننا نلتزم بتوثيق هذه الجريمة كشهادة للتاريخ، في ظل منظومة دولية ومحلية لم يعد يُطبق إنصافها إلا لخدمة أجندات محددة.

Statement of Condemnation and Denunciation Issued by Al-Insaf Foundation for Human Rights
Al-Insaf Foundation for Human Rights expresses its categorical condemnation and blatant denunciation of the systematic and sinful assassination crime that today targeted the knights of truth in South Lebanon: journalist Ali Shoeib (correspondent for Al-Manar TV) and journalist Fatima Ftouni (correspondent for Al-Mayadeen TV).
The deliberate shelling of their civilian vehicle with four missiles from a drone—despite it clearly bearing press markings—is a definitive war crime and a flagrant assault on the United Nations Charter and the rules of International Humanitarian Law, which grant journalists sacred civilian immunity. This direct targeting reflects an organized criminal mindset that arrogantly seeks to obscure the truth, silence witnesses, and blind the lens from documenting the ongoing massacres and violations. These criminal acts are nothing but a stark indication of the occupier’s terror of the glaring truth that exposes them. We affirm to the perpetrators of these crimes: Your tyranny is temporary, all of this shall pass, and you will stand exposed before the conscience of the world and history. Truth does not die by bullets, and the logic of history has always proven: “Be the oppressed, and you shall triumph.”
In this context, our Foundation strongly denounces the negligent approach and suspicious failure of the Lebanese Government and the Ministry of Information. What occurred is not merely an attack on media crews, but a reflection of the general paralysis of the Lebanese authorities, who have abandoned their fundamental duty to protect their citizens and national sovereignty. This incomprehensible official laxity regarding the shedding of Lebanese blood clearly indicates that the country is being managed by “untrustworthy hands” that have prioritized silence and equivocation over the national interest, thereby legitimizing the persecution of professional cadres and serving the aggressor’s agendas.
The blood of the martyrs, Ali Shoeib and Fatima Ftouni, places the international community and the Lebanese official system—which appears to be out of national service—before a pivotal moral and legal test. The silence of international organizations and the Lebanese authorities’ abandonment of their sovereign role is nothing but a green light for the continued violation of international laws without deterrence.
Al-Insaf Foundation holds the aggressor parties fully responsible for this assassination and affirms that the persistence of impunity and international double standards is met by a comprehensive and disgraceful Lebanese governmental failure. We are committed to documenting this crime as a testimony for history, within an international and local system whose justice is no longer applied except to serve specific agendas.
